Sara Ingram’s The Boom Guy was a great experience working as both sound and boom operator. After the projects completion, I felt well versed in the crew position as we filmed all day at interior and exterior locations. Along with sound, I was responsible for set construction and equipment maintenance.

Skylar Pocock's Aimless was a very rewarding project. Serving as gaffer throughout the day, I was unexpectedly asked to act near the end of our shoot. Drawing from my theater background, I was able to quickly memorize my lines and stay in character as we filmed the final scenes.

Rayna Sklar’s Fading was a demonstration of my commitment to the creative process. Serving as Assistant Director required that I be in constant communication with the film’s script supervisor while updating the slate. I was also tasked with assisting the cinematographer in equipment maintenance.

Fardosa Hassan’s Safe Haven was my most involved role while acting for a student production. I had to memorize more than 13 lines and one monologue. Portraying Mr. Scott as a three-dimensional character was challenging as one scene involved my character confronting a police officer.

Fardosa Hassan’s Zone 5b was a fun experience acting as an extra. The two day shoot required that I memorize four lines and physically act for one scene. Shooting for two days, the final result was well worth the time spent.
